Recently, we worked with Aboriginal artist Gary Saunders on culturally meaningful artwork for our office.
The result above forms the basis of a new ‘It’s OK to complain’ brochure and magnet that is now available for pre-order here.
Gary explains the artwork:
“The big circle in the middle represents your office. The five paths leading out from the centre symbolises your guiding principles: giving excellence, being accessible, person-centred, responsive and accountable. The three circles on each path symbolises that every person with a disability will be treated in line with your values of rights, respect and fairness.
The green and the white dots that flow around the design showcase how your office is connected to the community and to people with a disability”.
We release this brochure in the lead up to Reconciliation Week as part of our commitment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Today as part of National Sorry Day, we also take the time to grieve, reflect and acknowledge the experiences of the Stolen Generation.
