Our collaboration with Aboriginal artist Gary Saunders

Art by Gary Saunders, a Bangerang, Wiradjuri, Yorta Yorta & Dja Dja Wurrung man

26th May 2018

Recently, we worked with Aboriginal artist Gary Saunders on culturally meaningful artwork for our office.

The result above forms the basis of a new ‘It’s OK to Complain’ brochure and magnet that is now available for order here.

Gary explains the artwork:

“The big circle in the middle represents your office. The five paths leading out from the centre symbolises your guiding principles: giving excellence, being accessible, person-centred, responsive and accountable.  The three circles on each path symbolises that every person with a disability will be treated in line with your values of rights, respect and fairness.

The green and the white dots that flow around the design showcase how your office is connected to the community and to people with a disability”.

This work with Gary Saunders is just part of our commitment to ensuring that our office is accessible to and connected with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
